A guided 6-week small group for women grieving after betrayal
Betrayal creates grief that can be hard to name.
You may be grieving the relationship you thought you had, the future you were building, the version of yourself who did not know, the safety you lost in your body, or the choices you would have made differently if you had been given the truth.
This grief can feel complicated because the person you are grieving may still be alive. The relationship may still exist, or it may not. You may be staying, separating, divorcing, rebuilding, or still unsure.
Rising Through Grief is a guided small group for women who are ready to gently make space for the grief betrayal has created, without pressure to make a relationship decision, forgive, move on, or “be okay.”
This group is for women who have enough stabilization and support to begin grief work in community. Because grief work is vulnerable, each participant will complete a short questionnaire and connection call before being invited to join.

What We’ll Explore
Over six guided sessions, we’ll explore:
Week 1: Safety, Connection, and How We Grieve
We’ll create emotional safety, build connection, and talk about how grief shows up in the body, mind, and nervous system. This week is about learning how to approach grief without forcing or flooding yourself.
Week 2: Naming the Losses Betrayal Created
We’ll name the visible and invisible losses betrayal created: emotional safety, sexual safety, reality, trust, identity, faith, friendships, family stability, finances, parenting, and the future you thought you were building.
Week 3: Accessing Anger, Injustice, and the Body
We’ll make space for anger as a valid part of grief, especially if anger has felt unsafe, wrong, or used against you. We’ll explore what your anger may be protecting and how to listen to it without shame.
Week 4: Reality, Responsibility, and What Was Never Mine
We’ll separate what is yours to carry from what was never yours to prevent, manage, fix, or control. This week is about releasing responsibility for someone else’s choices while honoring your own healing.
Week 5: Grieving the Life, Family, and Future I Thought I Had
We’ll make room to mourn the dreams, plans, family identity, partnership, sexuality, stability, and future that betrayal changed.
Week 6: Carrying Grief and Reclaiming Self-Trust
We’ll integrate the work, honor what has been grieved, and reconnect with the part of you that is still here. This is not about being “done” grieving. It is about learning how to stay with yourself.
There will also be a bonus integration and closing 7th meeting at the end.
This Group May Be a Good Fit If You Are…
Ready to gently approach the grief connected to betrayal
Able to participate in a group without sharing graphic betrayal details
Open to hearing from women whose relationship choices may be different from yours
Looking for guided support, reflection, and connection
Not needing this group to decide for you whether to stay, leave, reconcile, separate, or divorce
Able to honor your own pace and the pace of others
This Group Is Not
This is not crisis support, therapy, or a space for processing graphic betrayal details. It is not a group that will tell you what to do with your relationship.
This is a space to tell the truth about what betrayal cost you, honor the grief you may not have had room to feel, and gently reconnect with yourself.
You do not have to be “done” grieving to join.
You only need to be ready to begin making space for what has been waiting to be witnessed.
