My name is Sarah Clark. I have been walking this road of healing from betrayal trauma for 3+ years now. I have experienced living in the cycles of dysfunction for even longer than that. Finding a coach and a support group who truly understand that betrayal is trauma has been life changing for me. Betrayal shatters your world and it leaves a wake of trauma and symptoms behind. Through groups, I have learned that none of this is my fault and even more so, I have found my heart and my voice through it all.
I have participated in trauma informed betrayal groups personally and have been trained through A Door of Hope peer facilitator course. My hope and prayer is that other women can find this kind of peace as well. Whether you are walking through the earliest and darkest days, or you are coming out on the other side, my goal is to simply walk alongside. Together we are stronger.
I work as a wound care nurse and currently live in Charleston, South Carolina with my golden retriever and my cat. I have 1 nephew and 2 nieces who are the world to me. I love doing anything outside that is adventurous-kayaking, rock climbing or sitting out in the sun. Through recovery I have learned more about my hobbies and have recently picked up crocheting and taking care of my houseplants. I hope you can join me in this road to healing!
